Embroidered Boxes:

April 7th 2007      10am - 4.30pm      Harbour House, Kingsbridge

Learn how to design, create and make a stunning, jewel-like, richly embroidered box using a variety of colourful fabrics, textured threads and beads. Free-machine embroidery will be used extensively onto layered fabrics to create rich, dense, interesting surface textures. Tassels, machine cords and hand stitched beads will add the finishing touch.

Some knowledge of using your sewing machine in free-machining mode will ensure you get the most from the day.
